Jessica's back and what fell by the wayside

I have to say that i really turned a corner this weekend. At the begginning of July I was beside myself with worry about all these graduation parties and family events and rightly so, i gained. But this past weekend I did fine at 3 graduation parties and stayed OP! The difference is paying attention to what fell by the wayside, and improving my attitude.

Instead of complaining about having to go to all these parties and finding the time, i remind myself how blessed i am to have such a terrific family and exteneded family and friends.

The things that fell by the wayside were the very things that made me a success at weight loss. Why would i expect to do anything else other that gain big when i abruptly stopped lving thin?

If i no longer exercise vigorously and consistently, I will no longer look like someone who exercises vigorously and consistently. So if you want to look like a workout queen, you have to be a wokout queen and not a poser. If you want to look like someone who does not eat sugary desserts, you cannot eat sugary desserts. And most importantly, if you want to have admirable cholestreol and trygliceride numbers and overall excellent health, you cannot expect to maintain your good health if you abuse your body with food and unhealthy habits.

When the good health habits fall by the wayside, so does our good health. We need to put ourselves first so we can deal with our busy schewdule. If you dont have time 4 a serious illness, you need to find time to exercise.
